Moth!

Favorite part of my day; this epic moth the kids found at swim practice! Whhhaaaaaaaa?! He was so beautiful.

We just had a total downpour, and this guy was hiding behind the big cargo box full of lifejackets and paddle boards. He scared the life out of half the kids, but I was overcome with delight. He sat on my dark blue pants for the duration of swim practice and warmed up a bit.

We left him on the leeward side of this shed, hopefully not to be blown away by the bipolar summer weather we’ve been having, or snatched by a bird immediately.
